"This pure Nerello Mascalese has aromas of spicy red cherry and herbs, and is mineral driven on the palate. There is plenty of bright acidity, and a pleasant floral component. This is a single-site wine from old vines.
This wine is 100% Nerello Mascalese from vines located at high altitude on the south-western flank of Mount Etna, in Contrada Cavaliere at 900 metres above sea level. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel, with the aid of indigenous yeasts. The wine is matured in old oak casks to retain its typicity and elegance." - Enoteca
