"Everything a Reserve should be – complex, detailed, distinctive and oh-so elegant. It’s heady with florals, spiced cherries, musk, woodsy spices and alluring damp forest-floor aromas. It’s fuller bodied with a core of such sweet fruit, including raspberries, but it is ultimately a savoury wine. There’s so much going on yet the first impression is one of lightness, before plush tannins create expansion across the palate. It builds, explodes and lingers long.
