"70 cases made. A rare bird. The most expensive Pinot in Australia.
Mint, lavish oak, white pepper and spice, heaps of perfume of the ladies kind, bright red cherry fruit. Medium bodied, but very tense and muscular, with great intensity and length. Minerally, slaty tannin runs through its core. Not close to being ready. I thought it a bit of ringer for Grand Cru Burgundy (not least because of the oak)."
Campbell Mattinson, Wine Front
"Rich, full, deeply favoured: powerful. Cellaring potential for two to three decades. Outstanding! Winery score: 98+."
