'The finest release yet under this label is an elegant, complex and finely balanced pinot whose profoundly ripe, briary and faintly meaty bouquet of perfectly ripened black and red cherries, blood plums and spicy undertones is lifted by a deeply floral scent. It&rsquo s long, smooth and unctuous, with a searingly intense presence of sour-edged cherry/plum fruit supported by a loose-knit spine of dusty tannins and deftly handled oak. Its finishing with balance and structure, a fresh acidity, a persistent core of flavour and a lingering meatiness.'
