Jeremy Oliver 90 Points!"A smooth, polished shiraz with a broad spectrum of varietal flavour. Its floral, slightly aromas of dark berries and plums are backed by cedar/vanilla oak and reveal undertones of bell pepper, whie pepper, cinnamon and anise. It's long and fine-grained, with rich, confiture-like flavours of dark plums and berries, redcurrents and mulberries tightly knit with fine-grained tannins and sweet oak, finishing underlying strength and minerality."

Campbell Mattinson 92+ Points!"The funny thing about this wine is that it almost never displays "black pepper" characters. It's a big dark shiraz that, despite its high alcohol, has become increasing refined with recent releases. This release weighs in at 15% alcohol.
Quite lovely. Dark berried fruits " blueberries and blackberries, with some redder, raspberried notes too. Lots of juicy acidity. And quite a deal of tight, fine tannin. There's musky, vanillin oak is attendance but it melts into the wine as it sits in the glass " you wouldn't call this excessively oaked. There are some gamey, undergrowthy notes in the background but, thankfully, not a great deal of alcohol heat. Nice package."
