The 2013 growing season produced deep-coloured, rich, earthy wines. 100% whole bunches were used to enhance the perfume and complexity. Wild yeast fermentation, no additions made. The wine spent 12 months in 1/3 new French hogsheads followed by 6 months in older barriques. With a few years in bottle, this wine is now displaying more refined dark cherry fruit and spice characters.
