"Second release of Bannockburn De La Terre " a single vineyard wine made with pinot noir...It doesn't mention pinot noir on the front label; it's the vineyard speaking. There is a movement, a small movement, towards "variety is not important, vineyard is the only thing" in Australian wine. Made using two batches, one with 25% whole bunches and the other with 100% whole bunches. Production: 200 dozen. Release: September 2013.

I like this. It's juicy and delicious. An excellent result from a young vineyard in a tough year. Sap, smoke, leaf matter, cherries, meat and potatoes. It's so earthen it tastes nutritious. Fine bones of delicate tannin. Savoury, herbal, excellent."
