Savoury, firm across the palate, revealing simple dark fruit characters, but settling into graphite, earth and wet stone-like minerality too. It's an exciting wine for tannin and strictness but also the layers of fruit impact. Finishes with a lick of gentle sweetness swept away by chalky pucker. So satisfying to see such structure and texture at this price point."
