Amongst Michael Glover's huge legacy at Bannockburn is the introduction of the 1314 range. Therefore it is fitting that he made this, the first ever release of 1314 Chardonnay with fruit from Anne's Block, planted in 2002. This is a Chardonnay for those who like a clean, but rich style. It has a core of stonefruit on its round, textural palate, kept fresh and remarkably light on its feet by a bright acidic backbone and use of large format, older oak.
