DELICIOUSLY SAVOURY, WITH DENSE, ALMOST SILKY TANNINS - AN EXCELLENT RISERVA

 

"Notes of red plums and bramble berries with dried rose petals, red licorice and bark. Medium to full-bodied, with chalky texture and vivid fruit. Tannins are velvety and ripe. Racy and spiced on the finish." - James Suckling

 

"Sangiovese with small amounts of canaiolo and Cabernet Sauvignon. Produced within the Chianti Classico zone, between Florence and Siena, Tuscany (Italy). Fermentation takes place with a medium period of maceration. It is followed by at least 2 years of aging, of which a minimum of 12 months is in French oak barrels. The wine concludes its evolution with at least 6 months of bottle aging.

Rich with notes of cherries, plums, and iris. Deep cherry and leather flavors with subtle wood notes. Supple tannins, good acidity, and a lingering finish. Perfect with flavorful roasts, pastas, and cheeses." - Banfi
