"Furmint, one of the varieties that makes Tokaji, is here made as an opulent dry wine. Sourced from five vineyards, the wine is fermented and aged for six months in barrel. Punchily aromatic, which flows onto the fresh but concentrated palate, it tastes of ripe stone fruits, nutmeg and vanilla. Outstanding!" - Wine House
"The estate wine of Balassa Winery, starts with typical Furmint aromas: quince, pear and white flowers and hint of minerals and nuts. It’s blended from the ingredients of several Mad vineyards. Similarly to Istvan Balassa's big single-vineyard wines, the gentle pressing is followed by one-third barrel fermentation and two- thirds tank fermentation, then bottling after five months of ageing. Subtly oaky, long, multi-layered palate with a touch of minerality, citrus fruit, apple and pear." - Balassa
