"The fruit was harvested in excellent condition from our certified organic Headwaters Vineyard near Renwick in Marlborough’s Wairau Valley. The grapes were crushed and after three hours of skin contact, pressed. Fermentation was by wild yeasts followed by full malolactic fermentation. After seven months on lees in barrel, the wine was fined and bottled. Deeply coloured berries are reflected in the rose-gold appearance of this wine.

Floral and bready with nutmeg, honey suckle, pear and ginger. Soft and mouth filling entry with good volume and structure throughout. Baked pear, quince and mineral are joined by soft lime and red guava on the long finish." - Babich
