"Troy's winery Attwoods specialises in terroir driven Pinot Noir and Chardonnay to be enjoyed with food. The Old Hog Pinot Noir is small batch, made from a Biodynamic site near Bannockburn and quite simply some of the most exciting wine we've seen this year.
Old Hog was the name of the very first barrel Troy used but also celebrates his love of rare Wessex Saddlebacks. This cleanly grown and hand made wine has all the hallmarks of Geelong and of wild yeast and whole bunch ferments.
Uncompromising, structured and possessing an enticing savouriness that will be enhanced with time in bottle, right now this Pinot is driven by flavours of black olive and dark cherry, backed by whole bunch characters, spice and charcuterie, delivered on a silky textured and deeply generous palate.
