This release of Ashton Hills Reserve Pinot Noir was a trophy winner at the Adelaide Hills Wine Show. Easy to taste why.
Awesome. Floored me from the first sip. Gloriously expressive, but characterised by its long, smoky, stalky, minerally length. Has precision written all over it. Lots of upfront flavour, but it then drills on and on. Perfect tannin structure. Maybe a touch of warm alcohol, but this is a brilliant wine.
