Has a succulence to texture, also a gentle sweetness, a firm web of tannins lending structure, a cool, red-green berry spectrum to finish. Quite reserved, structured, fine in its presence, which leaves you searching for more in that enjoyable, moreish way. Feels sophisticated, very even. A very impressive, delicate grenache here."

All hand-picked fruit. 70% grown on 80 year old bush vines in Blewitt Springs, the balance from a separate Blewitt Springs vineyard with 50 year old vines. Both vineyards on sandy soil. Minimal intervention winemaking. Whole bunches were foot trod. A natural sediment may remain, we recommend decanting all our wines.

Vibrant purple with crimson, the nose is full of spicy cherries and dusty herbs. The palate is juicy with vibrant acidity that gives the wine a good length of flavour. Complex red berry flavours mix with soft spice and savoury complexity thanks to the whole bunch and extended maceration ferments that form part of this
blend. Light to medium bodied with soft tannins.
