"Composed of 50% Chardonnay, 40% Chenin Blanc and 10% Mauzac, the delightful Cuvée Eugénie is a hommage to Eugénie Limouzy the great-aunt of Georges and Roger Antech who currently run the winery alongside Georges' winemaker daughter, Francoise.

The wine is made using the traditional method and aged for 12 months on the lees which adds a lovely toasty complexity. The nose burst with crisp lemon and green apple aromas leading to a palate that reveals beautiful balance between freshness and subtle nuttiness.

Created in homage to Eugénie Limouzy, my great great aunt, a committed young lady, this Cuvée reveals the magic of the Chardonnay culture in Limoux for the effervescent." - Antech
