CHAMPAGNE NATIVE ANNE-SOPHIE DUBOIS IS SHAKING UP THE BEAUJOLAIS’ VITICULTURAL SCENE WITH WINES LIKE THIS!  

"Born and raised in Champagne, Anne Sophie Dubois caught the wine bug early and spent her formative years learning the ropes in Burgundy. She farms her eight hectares in Fleurie all organically and uses a hands-off approach in the winery, favouring for this wine a classic vinification over the ‘Beaujolais-style’ of carbonic fermentation. She names her wine ‘L’Alchimiste’ after a Paulo Coelho novel on pursuing dreams and learning lessons while doing so.

Her Gamay is from the Cru of Fleurie, a site which is now 40+ year old. She destems her fruit, ferments and ages in a combination of cement and oak barrels before bottling unfined and unfiltered. This style makes a wine which has more structure than her Les Cocottes and the kind of wine that is both serious but enjoyable to drink at once, helping redefine the identity of Beaujolais." - Wine House
