Wild, reduced aromas of crushed blackberry, black cherry and dark chocolate. Seamless and superripe, conveying superb density of material in a round, silky way. Black fruit and violet flavors are framed and lifted by tangy, peppery, ripe acidity. The finish is very long and ripely tannic for a Côte de Beaune wine in 2014. A rather silky, feminine style compared to the tighter, more masculine Champans."
