Wine Front 90 Points!"From a low yielding vineyard in Porongurup, Western Australia, this riesling gets a natural yeast ferment to nigh on bone dry. Mr Busy, Larry Cherubino, consulted to Singlefile on vineyard selection, and ipso some winemaking.
Ample, urgent wine with some layered textural detail, perceived richness and depth, with an undercurrent of gravelly, quartz-like stoneiness. Quiet power here, drives long in the mouth and shows some complexity. Zip locks to tight in the finish, some green apple and grapefruit somewhere in the bouquet and palate. Pretty delicious actually, and lots going on. Investigate."
