Campbell Mattinson 95+ Points!"Close-planted block was established in 1989. Fermented wild and bottled without fining or filtration. 100% whole bunches. Foot stomped. 20 days on skins. 102 dozen made.
Dry, structural wine. Light in terms of fruit weight but highly complex, and lengthy. Won't really hit its straps until it's mature. Dried herbs, coffee, rhubarb, sweet-sour cherries, cranberry. Pops of dry spice. Succulent and seamless but with a bit of crackle and crunch to it."
