[SOLD-OUT] Poliziano Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG 2020

TRADITIONAL DOCG SANGIOVESE WITH SAVOURY FLAVOUR AND A SOFT STRUCTURE

"80% Sangiovese, 20% Canaiolo Nero, this is a very drinkable and versatile Chianti, ideal to accompany antipasto, pasta dishes, risotto and pizza. Try it with char-grilled peppers and melanzane (eggplant), roast rabbit or chicken, or Scarmorza (fresh Tuscan cheese) grilled on an open fire.

Dino Carletti entered the world of viticulture in 1961 to maintain a living contact with the place and culture of his origins. The name Poliziano pays homage to the 15th Century poet Angelo Ambrogini who hailed from Montepulciano and was knicknamed "Poliziano”. Dedicated to the production of sangiovese or "prugnolo gentile’ as it is locally known, planted predominately on the southern flank of Montepulciano.

Today, the Poliziano wines evoke the historic tradition of the land, but at the same time speak eloquently to the modern world. Theirs is a developing narrative… they retain their original labels, but have matured and evolved over time, always with the objective of uncompromising quality and expression of terroir." - Poliziano
