"Aromas of white pepper, smoky charcuterie and licorice waft from the glass with an earthy background. The wine is full-bodied and smoothly textured, loaded with powdery tannins as well as classic cool-grown spicy shiraz flavours."
Gourmet Traveller 2014
"Quite a sweet lavender-meets-blue berry fruitiness in perfume; attractive, dusted with light peppery character and showing a touch of dried herbal piquancy. Tight, slender and finely wrought, the wine cuts a fine trim across the palate with gentle sweetness, whip crack of acidity, more of the ground pepper spiciness and a trim tug of tannins teasing the wine long and to a fine point. It's classy as a young wine, but could do with opening up some too. Feels like finesse."

Sumptuous, inky Grampians shiraz named in honour of the late Trevor Mast, Langi's pioneering winemaker. Black fruit characters, meaty richness, peppery spice, powerful, lingering.
