"Intense red ruby colour. In its youth, its aromas suggest spring garden flowers and little red berries (raspberry, strawberry, and cherry) as well as blackcurrant. While ageing, aromas develop into more generous flavours such as peony or jasmine, jam or fruit liqueur, truffle, and mushroom with cinnamon hints.

Rather deep, the soils are well adapted to strong and generous Pinot Noirs. Solid but always elegant, racy but with delicate fruits, it opens fully after 3 to 5 years on a structured firm body but with rounded and velvety tannins."
