[SOLD-OUT] Juniper Estate Small Batch Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

RAY JORDAN 93 POINTS! CAMPBELL MATTINSON 93 POINTS! JAMES SUCKLING 92 POINTS!

A JUICY, EARLY DRINKING STYLE, BUT WITH LINE AND LENGTH EXPECTED OF THE VARIETY AND THE REGION.

"This small batch wine from Mark Messenger has been brilliantly put together. Loads of black plump fruit harness with exceptional use of oak to support the thread of chalky tannins. Totally integrated and smooth." - WA Today

"It’s made mostly with Cabernet Sauvignon from the Wilyabrup sub-region but it also includes Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. $27 for a wine that’s nearly 90% Wilyabrup cabernet. Not a bad starting point. It spent 15 months in French oak, 25 new. You certainly get a good cabernet fix here. It tastes of blackcurrant, bay, gravel and violet and while there are wafts of both cedarwood and vanilla it’s not at all creamy; fruit rules supreme here. It feels effortless, balanced and structured at once; it’s both a very good wine and very good value." - Wine Front

"Very attractive fruit purity with ripe dark-berry aromas, as well as sliced plums and forest wood. The palate has Juniper’s trademark tannin density, but delivers a supple version of this contained and powerful style. Chocolate and dark berries to close." - Nick Stock
