'It's a pretty spunky wine. It has heft, it has perfumed fruit and oak, it finishes with a grainy sense of drama and throughout it has deliciousness sewn up. It's the modern face of McLaren Vale shiraz, fresh but powerful, flashy with French oak but so alive with jubey flavour it feels mouthwatering. Hard to imagine anyone not enjoying this.'
