"The Heymann-Löwenstein Riesling bottling comes from declassified grapes from the family's Schieferterrassen vineyards - essentially the premier-cru sites of Hamm and Brückstück. These are very steep slate sites that are organically farmed. The 2018 Heymann-Löwenstein Riesling is a complex wine with aromas of lemon, lime, green apple, melon, white flower and minerality. It has rich flavors of apricot, lemon-lime, orange peel, and a minerality thanks to the slate covered vineyards of the Mosel. With mouth-wateringly high acidity and a long finish, this wine can be enjoyed by itself or paired with a wide range of cuisine from sushi to rich cream sauces, etc. It is ready to drink now, but may benefit from a year or two in the cellar." - Heymann-Lowenstein
