[SOLD-OUT] Gramona Cava Imperial Gran Reserva 2010

2015 Decanter World Wine Awards Gold Medal!

"...competes favorably with plenty of Champagnes that sell for twice as much." - Josh Reynolds

"Pale yellow with golden highlights. Nose: Good intensity. Fruit and white flowers. Nice balance between notes of freshly baked bread and subtle citrus peel aromas. Dried nuts. Subtle toast and yeast notes with buttery aromas. Palate: Pleasant on entry, full and creamy on the palate. Velvet-like bubbles. Refreshing finish. The white flowers and fruit aromas come through again on the palate against a backdrop of freshly baked bread. A cava with structure, which shows its personality and finesse year after year."

- Gramona

"Pale yellow-gold. Displays vibrant, mineral-tinged citrus fruit and floral scents, along with suggestions of fennel, toasted grain and quinine. Silky, seamless and dry, offering intense Meyer lemon and intriguingly delicate pear flavors. Pure and sharply focused, with outstanding finishing clarity and stony persistence. This graceful, finely balanced Cava delivers outstanding value and competes favorably with plenty of Champagnes that sell for twice as much, if not more."

Josh Reynolds

"Bodegas Gramona is a family owned winery producing some of Spain's finest Cava. Seek out the wine list of any top Spanish restaurant and you'll find Gramona there. It is a much loved producer that is often voted in the Top 100 Wineries of the World by Wine and Spirits Magazine.

It tastes of lemon curd, bread, baked apple pie with gentle flowers and spice. Spanish Spakling with attitude, Gramona is the epitome of elegant Cava."
