[SOLD-OUT] Domaine Dublere Meursault Les Crotots 2013

Variety: 100% Chardonnay
Sub-Appellation:  Meursault - 'Les Crotots'
Region: Burgundy, France

Meursault's Les Crotots is situated below the 1er Cru Les Poruzots, so a pretty damn handy location. It faces east with the classic Côtes de Beaune clay-limestone soils. It is a terroir that we rarely see bottled separately and naturally offers intense freshness and drive. The aromas here are classic 2013, with lots of tangy citrus and stone fruit, threads of minerality and subtle spice. The palate is both succulent and restrained, in a cool, racy style, with long, salivating close. Aged for 18 months in barrel and 2-3 months in tank before bottling, this is all about fruit purity and palate length.
Bibendum

"This is also notably floral in character with lovely elements of hazelnut, ripe pear and spiced apple adding breadth. There is plenty of minerality to the detailed, vibrant and utterly delicious medium weight flavors that terminate in a lingering and more complex finish. This markedly saline effort should drink well young."
