"We are in the south of Burgundy, in the Beaujolais region where Fleurie is regarded as the most elegant of the ten Crus of Beaujolais. On the upper part of the steep slopes (450m) the slow process of erosion has split up the hard rocky granite into sand, rich in silica and iron oxide. This is an extraordinary 'Terroir'.
The wine reveals a good structure together with the aromatic complexity of ripe fruits (spices, plum, peony and violet). The mouth is fleshy and jammy, very sensual, with a long finish."
