[SOLD-OUT] Cep by Cep Anjou Blanc 2020

FROM GRAPES GROWN IN VOLCANIC SOIL, PROVIDING A UNIQUE STONY QUALITY

"This Chenin value comes from 100% hand-harvested fruit which was organically grown in Rochefort-sur-Loire, just south of the river and opposite Savennières. Phillipe Germain oversees the vineyards, which are influenced by the schist-rich, volcanic soils of the Massif Armoricain. It's the type of rock that imparts a pungent, stony bite into the dry Chenin of the area. The wine was vinified in two- to four-year-old 400-litre casks.

Picking up where last year's wine left off, the new vintage is super racy, tangy and bright, with plenty of apple and lemon pith complemented by orange blossom and lanolin notes. Generous fruit weight meets tightly coiled acidity, and there's a saline splash to finish--perfect." - Bibdendum
