[SOLD-OUT] Bakery Hill Peated Malt Cask Strength

Jim Murray 92.5/100!
Jim Murray 92.5 Points!
"Virtually every phase of this malt works fabulously, a truly wonderful piece of distilling and maturation.

Nose heavyweight stuff fruity and phenolic, a few spices march around.
Taste and those spices come up trumps on delivery, a huge arrival with a big soft juicy backdrop acting as a start contrast. The smoke resurfaces gingerly.
Finish elegant fade with the fruit having been vanquished by the vanilla, spices and soft smoke.
Balance I remember when Talisker had this kind of spice attack.
Jim Murray (Whisky Bible), 2011

'This is a chunky, chewy and classy malt that displays a concentrated mix of lemon and bitter orange and dusty peat smoke. Hickory and Liquorice are at the whisky's core but then it just melts away with the softest of peaty endings - extremely impressive.'
- Dominic Roskrow, 'The World's Best Whiskies, 2012 ed.
